Services

Welcome to Neurotopical Therapy! I provide relevant, up-to-date, specialised, and individualised support for neurodivergent individuals and their families. My approach is atypical, much like me! With a background in social work, graduate qualifications in autism, and lived experience as an autistic person, I bring together academic knowledge and real-world insights. I’m dedicated to collaborating with clients, ensuring therapy is a shared journey rather than a one-sided experience.

I work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages, from young children to adults. My therapy focuses on building knowledge, understanding, and empowerment, helping clients engage with the world in ways that work for them.

  • This therapy provides disability-specific support designed to help you build skills, strategies, and confidence aligned with your NDIS goals.

Support is tailored to your recognised disability and may include practical strategies for daily living, emotional regulation, executive functioning, strengthening your identity as a disabled person, and self-advocacy.

Therapy can also focus on developing skills to navigate social situations, maintain meaningful relationships, and engage in activities that support belonging and overall wellbeing.

    • Parent capacity

    • Children 7+

    • Teens

    • Adults

Session lengths: 60 or 90 minutes

  • Therapy that utilises many various methods and practices, this kind of therapy can be as relaxed or structured as you need. Arrive with an agenda or let the session unfold naturally. Some people know what they need, others sense something isn’t working but need help with that what.

Nothing we talk about is ever too small, if it matters to you, it matters in therapy. Sometimes we go over the same situation multiple times to figure it out.

Clients often let me know my supports are affirming, and non-judgemental, and theres nothing you can share with me that will be too much for me to carry alongside you. Theres no rushing here.

My particular areas of interest are:

    • Late diagnosed neurodivergent adults, particularly women

    • Girls and women who are working on “perfectionism”

    • Managing daily life challenges and long-term personal growth

    • Anxiety, emotional regulation, and complex mental health

    • Relationship dynamics, romance, and social navigation

    • Advocacy and self-advocacy skills

    • Identity exploration (disabled and/or neurodivergent identity)

    • Trauma-informed support and relational work

    • Workplace, professional, and peer support for allied health workers

    • Community connection and participation

    Session lengths: 60 minutes
    Fees: $90-160 (sliding scale)
    Options: Telehealth only

  • Are you a business owner or allied health professional looking to provide a queer and neuro-affirming service? I would love to work together.

I’d love to help you maximize profitability and enjoyment of spaces for everyone, especially queer and neurodivergent people who often shop around or miss out altogether due to not feeling welcome, or the environment being too sensorily overwhelming.

We can work on simple strategies and solutions to help you become more known to the queer and neurodivergent community for all the hard work you are putting into making your services and space welcoming and affirming to everyone.

Are you a professional or aspiring professional who works within the helping industry?

I’d love to chat to you in a collegial way about workplace frustrations, workplace advocacy opportunities, burnout, self-care and work/life balance, and debriefing on particularly challenging cases/experiences you’ve had.

I also know it can be isolating working in private practice or organisations where you are the sole allied health professional in your industry and I welcome sessions where you require a social work perspective on a particular client or problem you are facing in the workplace in general. I’m sure we can learn from each other.

Individual supervision: 60 mins, starting at $180

Professional consultation and training: starting from $250 per hour (face to face time)

  • I am working on therapy groups both in-person and online, keep up to date with my social media or my humanitx page for anything happening now!

Much of my therapy experience in the past was working in the group therapy spaces, and I continue to see so many benefits from working together for therapy outcomes.

Prices vary depending on the service

There are so many things we can work on together that it’s much easier to list what we can’t do!

  • I do not offer Behaviour Support therapy, which is specific support to monitor and reduce restrictive practices

  • I cannot service NDIA-managed clients (yet!)

  • I do not accept mental health care plans (but my rates are usually typical for out of pocket costs, so this is not a barrier).
