All about services
Welcome to Neurotopical Therapy! I provide relevant, up-to-date, specialised, and individualised support for neurodivergent individuals and their families. My approach is atypical, much like me! With a background in social work, graduate qualifications in autism, and lived experience as an autistic person, I bring together academic knowledge and real-world insights. I’m dedicated to collaborating with clients, ensuring therapy is a shared journey rather than a one-sided experience.
I work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages, from young children to adults. My therapy focuses on building knowledge, understanding, and empowerment, helping clients engage with the world in ways that work for them.
My client base includes:
Young children who are autistic or have a similar developmental diagnosis
I emphasise therapeutic play and emotional support to help young children express themselves and develop essential skills. Together with their support people, we’ll explore any challenging behaviours and work to understand their underlying causes. This collaborative approach aims to build skills and empower them to express themselves safely and effectively.
Parents of young children who want to build their capacity to support their child in a neuro-affirming way
I offer support to family members of neurodivergent children and teens, helping them manage the demands of parenting and advocacy. Together, we’ll build a translation guide to improve communication and understanding within the family and beyond.
Older children, adolescents and teenagers, both with or without their caregivers
It can be difficult for adolescents and teenagers to navigate everyday changes and social expectations without adding a divergent mind. My therapeutic support aims to normalise and guide them through these challenges in life stages. I offer support to understand their unique experiences, manage the difficult emotions that arise and build a confident self-identity that fosters resilience.
Adults who are autistic, ADHD or have similar neurodiverse needs
A person might be questioning their neurotype, recently diagnosed, supporting someone who is neurodivergent, or looking for a new therapy to help live the life they want. Traditional forms of CBT therapy have been proven to work ineffectively with the autistic and neurodivergent community, so I offer a varied service that fits the individual. I am trained to deliver Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and I utilise a range of skills from different approaches to meet the individual's needs.
A combination or variation of the above
If you don’t see yourself on this list but still think we could be a good fit,
please feel free to get in touch to see if we can work something out together.
Why Choose Neurotopical Therapy?
What makes my approach unique is my blend of lived experience and academic knowledge. As a late-diagnosed autistic person, I understand the challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and their families. I prioritise creating a safe and comfortable space where we can work together to navigate the complexities of life. I focus on evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs. My goal is not to "fix" anyone but to empower each person to thrive in their own way.
Flexible Location Options
My therapy can take place in your home or via Zoom. Whether you prefer in-person sessions, online meetings, or a combination, I aim to make therapy fit into your life. If you want to walk around the block while we talk—let’s do it!
I currently only provide in-person services in the southern suburbs. If you’re unsure if that's you, I am happy to discuss further or provide online services!

Unlike many services, I offer sessions outside of school and work hours to support an individual’s financial and educational needs. If this is something you need, please feel free to let me know either in your initial contact or during our initial consult.
